Nature & Scope
The job requires the Commercial Sales Consultant to meet clients on-site, at their businesses or as may be required, analyze their needs, develop and communicate proposals, finalize the sale, and follow up with each customer to ensure complete satisfaction.
The Sales Consultant reports to the Commercial Manager and reports to the weekly sales meetings.
Core Duties
• Source, prospect, and call potential clients
• Build a sales pipeline to achieve continuity
• Develop and nourish clients’ relationships to create and retain customers and ensure a sustainable sales pipeline
• Discover and analyze customer needs and offer solutions by proposing the appropriate HVAC solutions
• Conduct presentations demonstrating the benefits of the company’s products and services
• Challenge any objections objectively with a view to getting the customer to buy
• Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
• Provide customers with quotations, sales orders, and product literature
• Maintain reporting of leads, in-progress active prospects, upcoming schedules, and sales forecast
• Arrange meetings with potential customers at their convenience
• Respond to incoming emails, phone inquiries, walk-ins
• Represent the company at trade fairs, events, and demonstrations as required
• Feed future buying and market trends back to the Commercial Manager
• Review own sales performance, aiming to meet and exceed set targets
• Participate at team meetings, training sessions, and others and share best practices with colleagues
• Take direction as set by the Company and Commercial Manager
